The Descendants of John Wogan

  1. John Wogan was born about 1490 in Ireland and died there before 1590. He married Miss (Unknown) Preston in Ireland. She was born about 1500 in Ireland and died there before 1600. She was the daughter of Christopher Preston. The only known child born to John and (Unknown) Wogan was Ann.
  2. Ann Wogan was born in Castleton, Kildare, Ireland and died in 1563 in Dublin, Leinster, Ireland. She married Patrick Dungan in 1539 in Ireland. He was born in Castleton, Kildare, Ireland and died in 1564 in Dublin, Leinster, Ireland. The children born to Ann and Patrick were: John, William, Richard, Walter, and Thomas.
  3. John Dungan was born about 1551 in Dublin, Leinster, Ireland, and died there in 1592. He married Margaret Forster in 1578 in Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland. She was born about 1555 in Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland and died in 1597 in Dublin, Ireland. She was the daughter of Walter Forster and Margaret Netterville. The children born to John and Margaret were: Walter, Edward, Thomas, and William.
  4. Thomas Dungan was born in 1584 in Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland and died in 1626 in Dublin, Leinster, Ireland. He married Mary Elizabeth Brook in 1605 in Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland. She was born about 1584 in Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland and died before 1684 in Ireland. The children born to Thomas and Mary were: John and William.
  5. William Dungan was born about 1606 in Celbridge, Kildare, Ireland and died in 1636 in London, England. He married Frances Latham in 1629 in London, England. She was born in 1610 in Kempton, Bedford, England and died in 1677 in Newport, Rhode Island. She was the daughter of Lewis Latham and Elizabeth (Surname Unknown). The children born to William and Frances were: Barbara, William, Frances, Elizabeth, Thomas, and John. Frances is said to have been married to a Lord Weston prior to marrying William. After William’s death, she married Jeremy Clarke, 2nd President of the Colony of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. He was born in 1605 in East Farleigh, Kent, Rhode Island. He was the son of William Clarke and Mary Weston. The children born to Frances and Jeremy were: Walter, Mary, Jeremiah, Latham, Weston, James, and Sarah. Jeremy and Frances moved the family to Newport, Rhode Island in 1637. After Jeremy’s death, Frances married William Vaughn, Pastor of the first (not First, but first) Baptist church in America.
  6. Thomas Dungan was born in 1634 in London, England and died in 1688 in Cold Spring, Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Weaver in Newport, Rhode Island. She died in 1690 in Cold Spring, Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Clement Weaver and Mary Freeborn. Thomas studied the ministry under Roger Williams and William Vaughn (his step-father). In 1684 Thomas and a colony of Welsh Baptists moved to Cold Spring, Falls Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania and established the first (not First, but first) Baptist church in Pennsylvania. The children born to Thomas and Elizabeth were: William, Clement, Elizabeth, Thomas, Rebecca, Jeremiah, Mary, John, and Sarah.
  7. Thomas Dungan was born about 1670 in Newport, Rhode Island and died on June 23, 1759 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He married Mary Drake in 1697 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Mary was born in 1679. The children born to Thomas and Mary were: Thomas, Joseph, James, John, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Mary, and Sarah.
  8. Elizabeth Dungan was born about 1706 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died about 1757 in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She married John Hellings in 1732 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. John was born about 1706 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died about 1761 in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Nicholas Hellings and Ruth (Surname Unknown). The children born to Elizabeth and John were: Elizabeth, Thomas, John, Hannah, Jonathan, and Ruth.
  9. Thomas Hellings was born about 1740 in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died in 1807 in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He married Rebecca Pritchard. She was the daughter of Rachel (Surname Unknown). The children born to Thomas and Rebecca were: John, Elizabeth, and Hannah.
  10. John Hellings was born about 1770 in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died there in 1816. He married Hannah Hunter on June 12, 1797 in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Hannah was born about 1773 in Pennsylvania and died in 1861 in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Andrew Hunter and Elizabeth Longshore. The children born to John and Hannah were: Elizabeth, Sarah, Rebecca, Mary, John, Joseph, and Rachel.
  11. Mary Hellings was born on June 18, 1804 in Pennsylvania and died on August 11, 1864 in Yardley, Pennsylvania. She married Elijah P. Leedom about 1829 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Elijah was born about 1802 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died on July 1, 1849 in Yardley, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Elijah Leedom and Lucy Yardley. The children born to Mary and Elijah were: William, John, Emmaline, Charles, Sarah, Harriet, and Joseph.
  12. Emmaline Leedom was born in 1834 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died on March 13, 1875 in Newtown, Pennsylvania. She married Jacob Gilbert Cooper on December 6, 1855 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Gilbert was born on November 6, 1830 in Northampton Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died before 1930 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jacob Cooper and Ann Johnson. The children born to Emmaline and Gilbert: Anna, Edward, Benjamin, Sarah, Della, Howard, Hannah, and Sarah.
  13. Sarah Elizabeth Cooper was born in August 1860 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died on December 19, 1920 in Newtown, Pennsylvania. She married Robert J. Clark on October 23, 1878 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. Robert was born on June 16, 1858 in White Plains, New York and died on July 6, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Irish immigrants Thomas Clark and Hanna Eliza (T______). The children born to Sarah and Robert were: Wilmer, Eliza, Gilbert, Francis, Laura, Kathryn, and Harry. Robert’s first wife is unknown. The children of Robert and his unknown first wife were: Thomas and (Unknown Son).
  14. Eliza Agnes Clark was born on July 20, 1883 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died on April 15, 1951 in Abington, Pennsylvania. She married Howard Praul on May 9, 1903 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Howard was born on March 16, 1878 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died on March 24, 1965 in Bristol, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Theodore Praul and Jennie Jamison. The children born to Eliza and Howard were: Leroy, George, Lillian, Laura Florence, Carl, Harry, and Thelma.
  15. Thelma Elizabeth Praul was born on October 28, 1921 in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and was 90 years of age and living with her daughter Janet at the time of this write. She married Norman Edwin Carter on September 6, 1941 in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Norman was born on August 3, 1920 in Dolington, Pennsylvania and died on September 21, 1996 in Clay County, Florida. He was the son of Charles Trexler Carter and Ruth Ella Bond. The children born to Thelma and Norman were: Patricia and Janet.
  16. Janet Lee Carter was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She married Henry William Lowrie, Jr. in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and divorced him in Miami, Florida. Henry was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was later adopted by Henry William Lowrie and Evelyn Eve Thompson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The children born to Janet and Henry were: Michelle, David, and Kevin.
  17. Michelle Suzanne Lowrie was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania. She married Michael Anthony Sublet in Jacksonville, Florida and divorced him in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Michael was born in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the son of Bobby Joe Sublet and Vera Tippins. The only child born to Michelle and Michael was: Ryan.
  18. Ryan Michael Sublet was born in Jacksonville, Florida.
